The book about the 11 years of the PPMA summarizes the results achieved by one of the most important initiatives for conservation of the Atlantic Forest Biome: the Atlantic Forest Preservation Project (PPMA), which counted with a partnership between Brazilian and German entities, produced a very significant impact on the protection of remaining forest areas in the State of São Paulo.

Ekos Brasil had the opportunity to contribute to the PPMA development on two fronts: through the executive coordination of the Serra do Mar State Park MP (the largest conservation unit of the Atlantic Forest with 315,000 hectares), and through the coordination of this book.

These were rather challenging projects that certainly contributed to the consolidation of our work within the biodiversity conservation sphere.
