The Management Plan is a tool for managing the Conservation Unit (CU). Besides being a technical document, the Management Plan is also a roadmap to a good management of natural areas envisaging a biodiversity conservation. The Management plan is built through a deep assessment of the physical characteristics, the biodiversity and a participatory planning, including the local community. The definition of zones may take into consideration different types of land uses, focusing on biodiversity conservation.
Therefore, the Management Plan is an essential tool for the region having a sustainable use of natural resources in any activity within and around natural areas.
